One more post about light colour bags and black footwear. That’s right! You can combine them. But I have to say – better don’t try to do something like this with white bag. If I found some good examples with white bag and black shoes that we can wear in Autumn, I will show you for sure. If you have such a picture, please send it me.

Project HEL LOOKS it�s a street fashion from Helsinki (Finland). Interesting young people were caught on the streets, in clubs of Helsinki, were made photos and small interview.

“I make and customize big part of my clothes. I’ve sprayed the jacket several times, drawn some pics on it and added the studs. My friend gave me the jeans. I don’t like to be categorized. I’m just me. My style idol is my sister. She’s a classic goth and looks like a French noblewoman.”

“I designed and made this dress for Iisa, singer in Regina. Iisa gave me the inspiration for the dress. My favorite designer is John Galliano. I’ve lived in Finland for three years now. Before my style was more shining and complicated. Now I like to wear more comfortable clothes.”

“I’m wearing a young gentleman’s uniform. Jacket and trousers are hand made, suitcase and scarf second hand, serial killer gloves are from some discount store. I like clothes with some kind of permanence. Big logos cause me mental rash! The capital of style is definitely New York. You can still find great old school clothes shops there. I think self-confidence is the corner stone of style.”

“I created this outfit for Club La Perse last Friday. It started with these Cheap Monday jeans. Then I found the Guns’n Roses t-shirt but I wanted to have something soft with it. That’s how I discovered white underwear. I like to mix old and new. I usually fall in love with old t-shirts. Hot thing at the moment: rediscovered innocence. Next I would like to experiment with sailor style.”

“At the moment I’m more into decorative and fancy things. I like to wear jewellery like necklaces and brooches. Rinne Niinikoski is the most important label for me. Africa and teamwork inspire me. Next big thing: overalls, shoulder-strap dresses.”

“The watering can hand bag is on loan from a friend, dress is second hand, necklace H&M. I like girlish styles, second hand and dresses. I like the style of women actresses in old Hitchcock movies. I think anything can be in fashion now, anything individual. The next big thing: shoulder paddings.”

“Dressing up is entertainment for me, I never take it too seriously even if I can spend hours thinking about clothes. It is a hobby and lifestyle that I couldn’t live without. As long as my shoes are fun and my hair is curled life is perfect. With accessories its easy to get ‘more is more’ look. Tonight I am wearing Chanel earrings, Tatty Devine necklace and my favourite furry dice.”

“I’ve been searching for this kind of fox collar for half a year. This wretch is missing his tail and other ear is about to fall. I’ve made this vest myself. I bought a piece of cloth for two euros and thought I’ll make a dress shirt out of it. But it turned out to a vest. Jacket is H&M, jeans customized.”
